Xe268H Comp Cam
What heads would be good with this cam? My motor is a stock 1973 350 with Edelbrock performer intake with 600 Holley.

Re: Xe268H Comp Cam
Do you know what the motor is out of? Being of the smog era vintage, chances are it has dished low compression pistons?
The cam & head package of your choice should compliment and work together. Dont pick one without the other.. but keep in mind not to overdue it (too much cam and big heads) if your working with a low compression bottom end.
Assuming you have the smog era motor; If you wanted to try to bump up the compression on a budget, look into a set of 170/58cc World S/R torquer iron heads for about $750. Dart also offers a line of 170 and 180/58cc iron heads for about a hundred bucks more. There are others too but, it all comes down to what you have bottom side to work with and what you want to spend?
Good luck

Re: Xe268H Comp Cam
It says from what I can tell its out of a 1973 chevelle. It still has everything stock in it including all the bearings. Dont want to bore it if I dont have to. Going to do a complete rebuild all new everything. What pistons would you recommend domed? What a good cr for the street?
