It jumps when I hit the gas and isn't accurate, what do you think is wrong??? Sending unit? I'm tired of filling up and not knowing how much gas I have xD

Its because it is 20 year old floater technology, when you accellerate your gas gauge reads more, when you stop it reads liess, you'll learn to live with it.

Agreed, replacing wont change anything. Its just how it works. The floater is at the back of the tank which is why your gauge rises and lowers with accelleration and braking.

With these cars you need to be happy if it reads accurately when it is sitting still.
