SBC Harmonic Blancer Question

yes i've come to find out that the threads on my harmonic balancer bolt are stripped. so i plan on using a helicoil kit. please do not citique me on the use of a helicoil kit i've use them on bolts that need over 100 lbs of torque i just need a question answered.



Question: I've bought your standard bolt from "Spectre" for your standard sbc harmonic balncer from 265-400 my question to you guys is: can anybody please tell me the thread pitch of that bolt. i wanna say that it is 12mm x 1.5 but i do not wanna drill and tap the wrong size so any help would be much appreciated.

Nothing wrong with the helicoil repair. Good to use when done correctly. Not sure what the thread pitch is, but should be the same as stock.
