Car accelerates by itself??

So I just got the car last week and occasionally the car will accelerate by itself. Yesterday it was so bad that I had to put it in N, engine kept revving like if you left CC on while to went into N, and come to a stop and turn it off.

Is this a CC short or something? I cleaned out the TB a couple days prior and the gas cable to the TB has so much slack. I don't know if either has anything to do with it, but I just put that out there.

Any ideas? Car is a stock 350 GTA.

If you suspect the CC, disable the unit by removing and capping the vacuum line to the servo, or removing the clip from the CC cable at theTB bellcrank.

Could it also be my turn signal switch is faulty and the stalk is broken at the base? The CC doesn't seem to work in my car.
