NEED TO GET OPTION CODE RIGHT

i have a chance to buy 081 heads - brand new out of the box, eveyting on them. but i need the option code for the factory.
gave them the head number but that was not good enough.
i think the option code is LB9 but i want to make sure it is, only have one shot at this and its all i get. no returns - no credits.

so if someone will pull their option sheet with a 90 z with a 305 and tpi and make sure code is LB9 would appreciate it.

unfortunately google and our search engine give me pages and pages of links when i put in lb9 and 90 camaro - cause it searches what the people have included as part of their bio.

even google gives me way to much info and been spending 1.5 hours reading as much as i can - and still cant find the correct search parameters. can plug in a vin and get that - but cant get option code is i cant seem to work backawards.

so i think its LB9 but i have to make sure - like i said - one shot thing.

thanks

tony

LB9 is a 1990 305 tpi iroc base engine with 190 hp and there were 3092 made and it was a 745 buck option.

Re: NEED TO GET OPTION CODE RIGHT

LB9 was also the code for the 230 hp version used with the T5 and dual-cats. Same heads and TPI, different cams.

Re: NEED TO GET OPTION CODE RIGHT

thanks - i have my source with gm hitting the factory warehouse - he gets one heck of a discount - works for a gm company - sometimes its good, sometimes it isn't, but gm is liquidating as much as it can for cash and these heads are not in demand except for those of us building 305's and there are not many of us.
