what is involved in getting a line lock to work on an 1985 IROC

as the question states, i posted a while back on getting a line lock for my 85 IROC but i realize they only work for 87+ third gen camaros. what would need to be swapped to get a linelock to work on the 85? swapping master cylinders? ,etc. thanks.

I don't recall seeing the previous discussion.

I have a line lock on the front brakes of my '82. Works fine. I took one of the front brake lines off of the combo valve and ran it to the solenoid inlet, the other combo valve outlet was plugged. The lines to each wheel were then put on the outlet of the solenoid.

Some say it works better between the combo valve and master cylinder. Maybe, I've never tried it that way.

The only difference between an '82 and an '85 is the '85 has metric fittings vs. SAE on '82 & '83. The '87 would have metric fittings as well, I don't understand why anyone would say it would only work on '87-later.
