a/c issues

Alright folks got my a/c blowing cold finally had a problem with it not blowing threw the vents but i can read and i found a great thread that helped so that problem is fixed. My last problem is the cold air that i get smells like exhaust its bad enough to make my clothes smell anybody got an idea why.

The A/C pulls in air just under the wiper blades. There is a rubber gasket that is supposed to be attached to the bottom of the hood at the back that seals off the engine compartment from the air intake for the HVAC. Most go missing because they start to fall down and people pull them off (along with the hood insulation).
You can get a new one if yours is missing.
