Acceleration Issues (Tranny?)
I think I have a tranny issue, but I'm not quite sure.
When accelerating from a stand still my car seems to have issues in the 1-2k rpm range. The rpm drops and fluctuates in that range until I get it up past 2.5k rpm. I also hear a nasty sounding click when its having this issue and trying to accelerate. I can get a video if anyone thinks that would help.
It really only happens in first gear, so that's why I assume its the tranny. It also only happens about 50% of the time I'm driving so I was a little curious if it could be something. I don't want to go to the junkyard and buy a new tranny just to find out I have other issues. Car already has enough issues as it is, it needs a new idler arm, master cylinder and struts.
In any case, thanks in advance for any help!
