breaks

i have a 89 firebird all stock and im having to put the breaks to the floor to get her to slow theres no leaks in the break system i changed the pads and roters thinking that would help then i bleed the breaks thinking that would help and i have new pads for the drums hoping that will help but if that dosent what could be the problem

i checked and there arnt eny leaks could one be bulging when i hit the breaks

Replacing the shoes will not help because shoes are self adjusting.

Bleed the brakes, there could be air in the system which would create a spongy feeling in the pedal and since air is compressible it will create a longer pedal.

Check all of the rubber brake lines by the wheels.

if there is air somewhere near the master cylinder about how many times should i bleed them before i get the air out

Well you probably will have to bleed every wheel if you believe there's been air in the system for a while. Bleed every caliper one at a time until fresh fluid is all that will bleed out.
