305 w/ 327 parts. help?
i have a carbed 305 and i found a guy selling Camel Back heads from a mid 60's 327, I believe they are 2.02 / 1.60's, and a Weiland SBC hi-rise intake, part number is 7546. Will this stuff bolt on? I plan on cleaning up the heads with my porting kit and resurfacing them before i throw em on if they'll even work

Neither of those is a good idea. The heads won't have the bolt holes to mount your accessories, and the single-plane intake will lose all your low-end torque, and won't mount the factory Quadrajet if that's what you're using.

The 2.02/1.60 valves also won't fit into the tiny bore of the 305 block.
You're better off buying a new set of aftermarket heads like Dart Sportsman. They'll be better heads right our the box than those old camel heads even after you do a bunch of work to them.
Leave the 30+ year old factory parts to the restorers. The aftermarket has come a long way and there are much better parts available.

Ported 350 heads will get you less power, due to the loss in compression.
What's your idea of cheap?

Re: 305 w/ 327 parts. help?
Why not keep your stock 305 heads? They are actually quite good, performance wise, for a factory castings. They will support as much power as the old double humps will. They have a similar chamber design (and actually a better one if they are the 601s) and the ports are the same size - the stock 305 heads flow quite well compared to the old double hump castings.
If you have 601, 416, or 081 castings on your 305 - keep them. They are as good or better than the double hump heads, especially for a 305.
For an intake manifold - I'd suggest Edelbrock's 'Performer RPM Qjet'... its the same as the Performer RPM, which is an excellent intake manifold, but it will mount both styles of carb (normal RPM will only mount a square bore carb, like a Holley)
