Don't know if i have an lo3 engine

I just bought a 91 RS, and I dont know if what engine it has in it. The guy i bought if from said it was not the original engine. He said it was a 350, (WRONG). It is a 305. I found the numbers behind the a/c underneath the head. VO828SFL. These numbers dont make sense to me. I have checked them 3 times and i still cant find out what i have. Please help me.
