'89 Intake To '88 Block: Questions Arise

Starting with the basic question. Will it work and what glaring differences will I run into? I went ahead with high resolution pics provided to ask the obvious.

I am taking small steps to ensure a trouble free installation with your help.

In the pic below I possess a complete 1989 intake assembly. The 1989 ECM 01227165 is on the table. Does my 1988 IROC Z28 have the same ECM? I have no problems with the original ECM. The '88 came with a 305 LB9 TPI motor.

I am presently cleaning the '89 intake manifold. I want to know the obvious differences I'll run into. I believe the only issue is the 9th Cold Start Injector. Anything else? This pic shows the front views of the '89 intake on the left and my '88 on the right. There is something missing I spotted hence the new thread. I guess I wont be using this electrical port. Need info.

Fuel Rail & Regulator. There is no vacuum tube provision on the '89 fuel pressure regulator.

So I need clarification here. I'll install the intake, fuel rail and plenum and hope it will start after priming the fuel pump rail. I think it's too easy with some missing items I guess I won't be dealing with. The '89 fuel pressure regulator looks like its adjustable than the vacuum assisted '88 FPR unit. What else should I be concerned about?
