Shifting into revese kills the car.
As the title says I try to shift into reverse and the motor is killed. I can quick put it in neutral or any other gear and it will catch itself and idle/run fine. This is a manual T-5. I unplugged the reverse light/neutral safety switch and it works fine. I dont want to leave it unplugged b/c my reverse lights won't work and makes it hard to see when backing up and will not pass inspection. The lights also stay on all the time if i put it in reverse with the keys out of the ignition.
Sorry if this is in the wrong section i wasn't sure which it was more related too...
Thanks for the help.

PERVERSE REVERSE
Does the voltmeter drop when the reverse lights are on?
A short can lower the voltage and stall the car.
Happy Racing!
If People Drove Any Slower They’d Be Going BackwardsFog lights are not driving lights. They look dorky. Turn em off slow pokes.
How bout those dorks too scared to drive without headlights on in the daytime!
