Ive replace the distributer,cap,rotor,ignition module,all sensors,wires,plugs,EVERYTHING electrical. Ill be sitting at a stop light and the car keeps wanting too take off. while holding the brake pedal down HARD. Cant seem to figure it out. dont know what else to do. even while cruising at any speed car seems like its missing or something. when i press on the gas it straightens out. until im cruising at normal speed or at a stop light again. IM STUMPED!. 1986 Iroc TPI. Bad ecm? and if it is. does anyone have one for sale or trade? By the way NO CODES WHATSOEVER!! Just the 12 code.

 

If you ahve replaced everything electrical then it has to be fuel related. It could be an injector or something along that lines. You may replace your fuel filter and see if that helps. If it doesn't then I would start checking injectors and that kind of thing out.

 

If the miss seems to be tied to one cylinder, then you have symptoms allot like mine were. Warm up the motor and take resistance measurements of all the injectors.
