Fuel pump problem
I tried searching this but couldn't really find anything specific. I just installed a brand new Bosch fuel pump about a month ago. It worked fine for a while and recently I've gone out to the garage to take the car out and when I turn the key, I hear no fuel pump. Usually, I could hear the pump whining. I went and bought a new relay, installed it, turned key on, and the pump came on, and actually sounded stronger than before.
So tonight, I went back out to check to make sure it worked because I was going to drive it to work tomorrow. No fuel pump again. I've checked the fuse, relay clicks, I've checked the wiring, everything. What are the chances that I just got a bad pump? I really don't want to take it back out and put another one in, but if I have to I will. It's still under warranty so it shouldn't be a problem.
Is this a common problem with the Bosch pumps? I figured these would be decent pumps, since Bosch makes decent stuff. Should I swap this Bosch out for a Holley?
Info about car: 355 TPI, LT1 injectors, computer chip to accomodate bigger injectors.
