Hey guys,

i changed my cap+rotor while doing a tuneup including the install of my hooker headers i wanted to crank it up to listen to the open headers, but not so. anyways i found out my pickup and some other distributor are shot, comes i out i used it as the fulcrum when prying out (actually destroying) the old rotor which seemingly was rusted to the dist. shaft (might have been the oem '89 one -.-)
i need help identifying the parts, please no answers like "just pull a distributor at a local JY" because there is no such thing around here and the parts from my spare '84 HEI style distributor won't fit of course. so i'm trying to replace the broken parts only.

that's the parts i'm looking at:


1. the hall-effect indicator disc, tooth plate or whatever its called? on the top of the distributor shaft - any info or p/n for that?

2. the pole piece (top left, one of four poles has broken off) and the retainer (bottom left, broken in two pieces here) - i found these two at rockauto:
"ACDELCO Part # D1987A {#10474000} POLE PIECE,DISTR PICK UP"

3. on the right side: the shield (as reffered to by the shop manual). maybe i could bend it back into shape and reuse this one..

any help, comments or hints are greatly appreciated!!

What year stuff do you need? I have a working spare out of an '87 that I could sell you. I am not really sure how much shipping is to Austria, but I could look into it if you like.

 

thank you, but against my belief i finally found a 'parted out' 88 TPI distributor in germany that will hopefully fit(?). anyways, it has all the parts i need and i hope they will interchange with my TBI distributor without any problems. from what i read 82-86 are HEI-style coil in cap and 87-up are separate coil setups? i'll post my findings here for further reference.
