LT1/LT4 Engine specialists? race shops?

I've been having some major issues with my LTx engine and after months of tearing the motor apart and putting it back together, changine ignition systems, and trying everything I can think of I'm at a dead end. Does anyone know of anybody or race shop they can refer me to that has had a lot of experience with the LTx motors. My entire car had been complete since May in hopes for the LTx shootout, but since I never figured out this problem I missed out on that and the passed few months of summer. Any help would be great, thanks guys.
