idle and stall problem

On start up, my LB9 fires then shuts off. Everytime I start it i have to give it a little gas to keep it going. and once its going it idles high. then idles normal after a couple minutes. Then a couple days ago, i was leaving my house and i was going like 10 mph and i let off the gas and it died. Then it did the same thing pulling into work today. Could it be the MAF or IAC going bad or something? i would really appreciate some help on this. thx

Re: idle and stall problem

Any trouble codes? If there are none my best guess is the IAC.

Re: idle and stall problem

Replace the IAC and reset the idle at 650RPM's. Part costs around $38.00 at any Auto Parts store.

If you don't know where it is located and the tools to remove it & reset the idle. Let someone else do it or get a manual.

Re: idle and stall problem

I believe all the info you need to do it is somewhere on this site? Might wanna try a search for it as i don't remember where exactly it is. Its not too bad but you should probably read over the procedure before you start.
