Having some problems :[
My camaro has been giving me some problems recently.
It started overheating, but I swapped the thermostat out and it's stopped.
It wouldn't start, found out the battery was dead, replaced that and it starts fine.
My problem now is with how it runs.
Before, it would accelerate just fine, now it's slow to gain speed, and the brakes feel kinda low.
I'm thinking it might be because of my fuel lines or something, I put on new ones and I think they might be constricting flow.
Does this sound right?
Oh, and I used 1/2 in vac lines because oreilly's didn't have 1/2 in fuel lines, they said the vac lines should work fine.

Although I am not 100% of your problem, Im sure its not a good idea to use vacuum lines instead of fuel lines, theres a reason that they are made differently.

I don't think vacuum lines will work - they would collapse I would think. In addition, they aren't made of the same stuff I don't think, and I'd think the gas will eat them away. Fuel lines are much stiffer, and rated for raw fuel, as opposed to heater hose or vacuum lines, which are not! How could an auto parts store hire someone that would think such?

Idk, but I'll head over to autozone or another auto parts place and see if they have the correct fuel lines.
The only reason I got vac lines was because they didn't have 1/2in fuel lines and I really wanted to get my camaro back on the street and see if it was running properly.
