I Need some help with this air intake.... help me out, there is no sensor on it so the service engine soon light comes on. I dont think it affects me in any way. But do you think it will pass smog.. and what should i get to get a little more air out of it.

Why not has most smog equipment on there. Put the hose back on it all its missing is the sensor.

 

If the check engine light is on at all... it is an automatic fail.

 

Having most smog equipment on there wont cut it. It needs to have ALL the smog equipment on there to pass CA's visual check. To fix the SES light for the missing sensor, you can remove the sensor from your original air cleaner and plug it into the sensor there. Is there a hole in the new air cleaner for it, maybe?

You'll need to put the stock one back on when you go for the test.

 

but other than that it shouldnt be a problem to run it around like i have been correct?

I mean for only 5 dollars its a good deal.. And it does have a hole for the sensor
