Will upping my rocker ratio from 1.5 to 1.6 with a factory roller cam (305 TBI) yield any significant gains? Will I need upgraded springs if so?

EDIT: Well aware factory cam sucks. Keeping it 'till it's time to swap heads, then I'll figure out who to contact and where to send my chip for a reburn. 'Till then trying to keep it doable with the factory TBI ecu

 

I put 1.6:1 roller tips on my 305. It didn't help a bit, but it didn't hurt to dump that little bit of friction either. I'd suggest you spend the money on a cam first.
