Will low vacuum (7-10) affect engine performance?
I have low vacuum - around 7-10. This may be because of the larger cam I have in my 89 GTA. I know this is too low for my brakes, so I'm breaking down and buying a vacuum pump to solve this problem. My question is, will this low vacuum affect anything else in my engine?

if you are running a holley carb you will need to run a 4.5 power valve, to keep valve closed at idle. you may have to adjust idle higher and run a higher stall speed converter if it is a auto???
