push rod guides?

Transmission: 700R4 truck clutches,Trans go shift
Axle/Gears: 10 bolt chevy 3.73 limited slip
push rod guides?
i installed used but milled and tested dart heads.They came with push rod guides installed.i noticed some wear on a couple of the new rods.I was wondering if i need the guides or not. and also if there is a way to adjust them as i would like to use them if i could.i have 1.6 compcam roller tip rockers also installed.

You need to use harded pushrods when you have guideplates. Are they stock pushrods? If they are they will not work!! Keep the guideplates and buy a set of hardened pushrods.

their not stock but im pretty sure their not hardened.they were only 40 bucks from comp cam for the set.thanks
