engine will not shut off when key in off position after 350 swap
engine will not shut off when key in off position after 350 swap. I think it has something to do with the dizzy. I just took a wire and put one end to the dizzy and the other to the alt. but i noticed on the other cap on the v6 It has to plugs, one with 2 wires one with 4. would this have something to do with my car not turning off when i put the key in the off position ? if not anyone know what would be causing it ?

i am going to guess you now have a carbed engine... and of course it wont shut off you have wired the dist straight to the battery you should be using the wires off of the old coil to power the dist just cut the connector off i used spades and hooked them up to the dist that way you only get power when the key is on....

oh well i couldnt find it, will have to take some time asside to sort out all the extra wires under the hood. put a toggle switch on the dizzy wire for now. seams to work well.
