Cam Selection Help!

Im currently building a 383 stroker and i am having issues selecting a cam for it, im going to list everything i intend to build it with and see if you guys can help me out. Mostly a street car with some weekend trips to the strip.

800 Demon carb W/1inch spacer(my uncle has a predator not sure which would be better, any comments here would be awesome too!)

Edelbrock RPM Airgap intake

AFR 195 Comp heads W/hydra rev kit

Eagle 700hp forged rotating kit looking for around 10.5-11/1 compression

Solid rollers(would hydra rollers be better?)

1.6 RRs

I was going to use a Lunati 60132(summit.com) but i dont know how low to keep the cam to go with the Airgaps flow? Thanks alot!

Re: Cam Selection Help!

To answer HR vs SR lifters, is a matter of rpm range. This is primarily determined by your heads. The AFR 195s on a 383 are going to peak around 6000 rpm, and be running out of air by 6500, so there's no real need for solid roller lifters. getting 500 hp and 500 ft-lbs from this is no challenge, but before I tell you what cam I used to get there, is this enough for you, or are you wanting more?
