Puff of smoke

88 GTA 350 when i let the car sit over night and then start it, black smoke will come out the exhaust, for like 5 secs, and after that its fine.

I had someone once tell me my valves are starting to warp or go bad.

Anyone know of this at all ???

Re: Puff of smoke

Valve stem seals. Common problem, doesn't really hurt anything.
