Car: 87 trans am, 82 trans am

Engine: 350

Axle/Gears: stock

cold air intake question

I have an 87ta with a 350tpi everything is stock except for the exhaust. Will it make a difference as far as horespower and acceleration?

Maybe 5-10 hp any kind of cai is an inprovement over the factory airbox.
