89 iroc 350 overheats when ever he feels like it.
The iroc overheats when after a long drive, has to be dealing with the fan i thought, fixed that the cord had been severed so i obtained a new one one and rewired it it works fine now. Now the inside of the water tank is quite brown and discolored could it be my raidiator has gone bad? Another problem is when the car drives i smell exhaust smoke in the inside of the car?could it be a hole or crack in my exhaust? In addition the car sometimes overheats. New to the site in need of help to restore a fine tuned 89 iroc. She needs to be back on the road where it belongs>?

Camaro over heats? Brown colored radiator fluid? Flush the system and replace with proper radiator fluid. Make sure youve got 50/50. While your at it, replace the thermostat. Might be sticking due to 1 year of not running. The fluid is brownish because in time, the block becomes rusted thus giving you the brownish color. The exaust smell inside the car is caused by 3 things, rusted or damage exaust system, wind blown fumes entering the car, or you have to many holes in your cabin.
