pcv maybe?
just got a quick question im working on a friends 1934 chevy p/u it had a late 60's early 70's corvette 327 motor in it all stock with a single barrel carb. we swapped a victor jr intake onto it with a holley 600 but when i took the intake off there was a small canister mounted on the backside of the lifter galley that the intake would rest on so i cant bolt it up. does anyone know what this is and how i am to get rid of it thanks alot

Re: pcv maybe?
it is the oil baffle used on the real early blocks where the breather just dumped over the back of the engine into the air stream. The PCV system made it redundant
