Valve Tap?
My '87 GTA has a noise coming from the engine when it is running that sounds like a valve tap. What could be causing this? Could it be something other than a valve tap?

Re: Valve Tap?
With hydraulic lifters, you shouldn't have any noise as the rockers have zero lash. It's possible that you have a collapsed lifter that's causing the noise.
Without pulling the rocker covers for a basic inspection, there's no way to pinpoint where the noise is coming from.
