need all the help I can get
my '89 RS, 2.8, turns over, but won't start. I had a mechanic friend come by and he brought his computer with. He put in the car info, but as soon as he plugged it in to the car the screen went blank. So, he checked for any fire the old way I had none. So, he told me to replace the Ign control module, I didand it still won't start. I have checked all the fuses (all that I could find) and all look fine. Any ideas?? Any and all help will be deeply appreciated.

You said your friend plugged in his OBD and it went blank!!!!
I'm thinking ECM is bad. Try grabbing one from the wreckers and put it in and see!
