I need to know the labor time listed in a shop manual like Chilton's etc... to change a fuel pump out of a 1991 Camaro ( complete time from start to finish)

Im pretty sure chiltons doesnt list labor times, the only place Ive ever seen them is in special books that auto shops have. Ive tried to find them online but the only access is a subscription type thing like all data.
Unless someone with the actual auto shop book chimes in, your best bet is to probably just call a shop.

Parts lists have the book times.
3.8 hours not including draining of fuel.

Back when I was still working in a dealership, we had two labor rate books to go by. Chilton and warranty. If it was customer pay, you went by Chilton times and if it was under GM warranty you used the warranty book.
Incidentally, warranty time was 1.8 hours. Even using a hoist and air tools, it was tough to make that job pay.

I can imagine. I've done 2 pumps. 1 took 7 hours and the second took 3.

and out of curiousity, i checked out other years of the 3rdgens and the 82 camaro (non carbed) only booked 3.0 hours. hmm lol. and for the carbed ones, it was only 1.0 hours of course.
but it was only for 82 that the time was a half hour shorter with the electric in-tank pump like all the other years up to 92 had....
