What size carb for a Vortec/LT4 Hot Cam Combo?

Engine: Vortec 350 Crate Motor
Transmission: TH350
Axle/Gears: 3.42 Posi
What size carb for a Vortec/LT4 Hot Cam Combo?
By calculation (Holley web site, Summit, etc.) a 600 cfm should be enough for a 350.
But, what are you running and why?

I'm a follower of David Vizard, he does a lot of articles for Popular Hot Rodding magazine, and he claims that larger carbs are better if using the popular RPM AirGap. Which is a good match for that cam with those heads.
