305 heads

Im doing a quick motor swap in my car because the original is toast. I have another running 305 from a truck that Im dropping in. The truck motor has casting number 376450 heads and the bad motor has 14014416 heads. Should I bother swapping heads or just leave as is?

Re: 305 heads

Do you plan on future engine upgrades or a swap? If so, I'd leave the 416 heads out of the car, so they can be worked in the meantime - ported and polished these heads flo quite well, and would be great on top of a 350 later.

Re: 305 heads

My plan is to just get the car running and sell it. I have both sets of heads so I would like to sell the better ones with the car...
