Now the car runs just fine but heres the deal after driving the car around for a few hours i hear the fuel pump start to moan so to speak, it pulsates and the more you drive it the louder it gets . When this happens there is a-lot of pressure is being built in the tank i do mean A-lot More then normal. Second the car starts to hunt not alot but enought to here it .Third i smell gas all the time .Any help would be great. Thanks

Re: New AC Delco Fuel Pump HELP!!!

it sounds like the vent line going to your charcoal canister is blocked.

Did you hook it back up when you installed the new pump? was your sending unit in okay shape? Is your purge valve connected on your charcoal canister?
