Help me please, about to pull my hair out! Car won't start

Here's the deal, bout the car about a week ago, car ran great all week, always fired on the first crank etc.

Yesterday morning I was taking the car down to get registered, I stopped at a light and out of nowhere the car died on me and wouldn't restart. It didn't sputter or bog, just literally cut out and that was that.

Car has new battery, plugs, plug wires, cap, rotor etc. Today I replaced the ignition control module and was fairly certain that was it. Still no luck. So I went ahead and picked up a coil and replaced that. Still no luck.

Car will just crank and crank. I know it's not getting spark. I'm about to pull my hair out, I really need to figure this out today if possible.

For reference the car is 86 Trans Am, LB9/Auto..

I'd go over the replaced parts again, no spark is definately what you've checked off for the most part. How are the wires at the distributor? They are pretty frail. Time to get out the multimeter hehe! New battery is good? Battery wires good?

I read somewhere on here that maybe a connection in the column has worn out? Ie it thinks the key is in the off position - just an idea I thought I'd toss out, our cars are old so could be. That doesn't really explain being able to crank it though and still no start.

How about fuel line? Filter could be super clogged or fuel pump conked out?

When you turn the key to ON position do you hear the fuelpump engage ?
It should make an buzzing sound for some seconds to build up pressure.

If its quite, it might blown a fuse or gotten bad.

So see if the pump is working, cause if not, your engine isnt getting any fuel..

You can also try starting gas to see if it fires up and dies, if it does, its defenatly fuelling issue.
