Car misses/hessitates
To make a very long story short, i had my intake manifold gaskets repaired about 2 months ago. Since then, my car has been hesitating and skiping like no other. When im either accelerating slowly or keeping a constant speed, my car starts jerking/missing. It does this all the time! In the past 2 months i have taken the car back to the original shop, also went to a couple of chevy dealers which they didnt have an answer. I have spoke with some fellow site members and have repaired the following:
TPS (adjusted voltage to .54 but drove worse that way so runs like 0.70), Cap, rotor, plugs, wires, coil, ICM, fuel filter, and probably some other repairs that failed to solve the problem.
One side note, for a couple of weeks my car drove fine with the TPS unbolted from the throttle body but still connected to the ECM until recently(this is how it is now). Basically now, the car drives crappy with my set up now and really crappy if it is bolted on the throttle body. Im considering giving up on this for good but wanted to see if anyone could share any knowledge or advice before i do so. Thanks for all the help.

Have you checked continuity on all the plug wires? They are often bad wires even when brand new in the box. All plug wires seated properly on the plugs and cap? Triple checked the firing order?

Re: Car misses/hessitates
THANK YOU. I just bought a tbi truck with the same exact symptoms, started changing the plugs to troubleshoot & eliminate, and noticed the broken o2 wire. I can't beleive it won't throw a code, but it doesn't.
