Larger Oil Filter

Does anyone have part numbers for larger oil filters for L98's? I bought the Pure One and it is tiny. I am sure another one will fit but could not find one by looking in the auto parts store.

Thanks!

I have been using a 2 qt oil filter since my first oil change 23 yrs ago on my IROC. It is longer then the stock one, but has no clearance problems. Various brands make them just check what is available.

Re: Larger Oil Filter

here's the AC Delco filter numbers. you can use whatever cross-reference to get your most favorite brand.

2qt truck filter - PF932
1qt - PF1218 (used to be PC35, but slightly smaller).

I also use the 2qt truck filter on my L98. my car doesn't have the "oil cooler" sandwich adaptor.

Re: Larger Oil Filter

Speaking of the PF 1218 Delco...you see it with 1218, 1218CL, 1218F, and 1218FCL models....what's the difference?
