i have a 1991 camaro rs with a 305, a month ago a starter wire broke and it sat for about 3 weeks before i could fix it and after i did, i started it and it sounded different and it idled to low....when you put it in gear it dies and if you try to throttle up fast it just dies...Can anyone tell me what's wrong with it???

mine did the same thing i changed the battery cause it was old and i havent had a problem. i would try charging your battery see if tht helps any

 

k ill try that and see what it does

 

if its not your bat check your alternator mine was going out and it did the same thing. and the starter may not be disengadging from the flywheel that was a problem if you get it started try keeping rpm's up and watch your volt gadge
