FILTER ASM,OIL (CLASSIC)
Part Number: PF1218FCL
Product Notes:
[Durapack Classic Design-Oil Filter]; 2WD ; Bulk pkg, qty 12 ; 130mm long
Per Vehicle: 1; Years: 1996-1999

EDIT: To sum it up, the "F" is bulk pack part number and "CL" is the Classic design that is 130mm long verses 115mm and does not include the anti-drainback valve.
Side note: These fit trucks & vans and will be too close to the ground on a 3rd gen which takes an 81mm long filter.

Re: PF1218 Question

I found this thread doing a search. I've been using the PF1218 ever since the original PF25 was discontinued years ago.

It is a long filter however the oil pan is still lower that the filter. I buy the Royal Purple version of the 1218.

I just didn't want anyone to read this and think it's too low to use. I very much like the fact it's a much higher capacity filter than the one that so called replaced the 25, the 454, which is even shorter.
