map map map map map !!!

so today fter adjusting my valves on the drivers side i noticed my map sensor was plugged in backwards . could this affect fuel distribution ? " because i have a rich running lo3 " now i remember that when i changes my module in the dizzy and plugged it in incorectly the car ran like crap , but thats fixed . i wonder if the map being plugged in wrong could be making my engine run rich ?

The connector should be keyed so that it cannot be plugged in backward. If the conneector is damaged and it is actually plugged in backward you would likely experience problems, and an error code.

Re: map map map map map !!!

yeah , no codes in ecm and im still running rich . i even tried to run the engine with the the CTS unplugged and right away it flooded , so i plugged it back in . today i also put in a new o2 sensor and that didnt help . what else manages fuel distribution ither than the map sensor and o2 sensor ? also i have installed the msd street blaster coil and its too big to bolt down both sides of the coil . one side hits the intake runner so i only have one side bolted down and that is the side that bolts down with the throttle bracket . would this cause any ground problems thus giving me a weak spark and creating an incomplete burn ?
