Converting from TBI to TPI, VSS question.

I am converting my 90 TBI camaro to TPI using an 89 TPI setup, the speed sensor from my 90 is different right? I think i need to buy this part http://tpiparts.net/inc/sdetail/7586 How would this install and is it difficult? Thanks

That adapter is for getting a VSS signal off a car with cable drive speedo .Could use it but could just go to a wrecking yard and get a VSS unit for 89 or earlier to suit your new ECM
The signal changed in '90 to the 4000 pulse you have now from the 2000 pulse
