Weird start up problem? Help
Okay so maybe on Friday I filled up on gas from arco(emergency gas) and my car started doing this thing where as soon as I started the car it was on but the rpm would go in n out, in n out..n when I press the gas it wouldn't rev at all it was on like a weird stand by mode..and so I figured it wa the bad gas or something cus I usually fill up at shell
n today on my way to work my car went dead after I turned it off..the radio n everything still worked but it wouldn't turn on I figured my battery died so I got a jump n as soon as I turned it on it did it again..n so I let it get more charge n it ran fine..
I'm thinking maybe it's the battery that's giving me the problems but I've also noticed that if I'm drivin n If floor it it'll rev up to speed but it won't hold the rpm it'll go away n pick up speed but it's not due to the transmission shift..
I heard maybe it could be my fuel pump??Or dirty injectors?
Anyone ever heard of a case like this??

First I'd get the battery or alternator issue resolved. Then I'd change out the fuel filter and see if that helps. Everyone has talked about "bad gas" since the day the first dinosaur died - but in reality most all gas is the same gas, just different detergents as additives - all the gas in the US travels through the same pipeline system from the ame refineries - and only real differences are what additives are added after it reaches the local tank farms for distribution to the stations.
