i have a 92 camaro rs tbi with a 305 and ive replaced the starter, battery, beveled out the catalytic converter, still it doesnt idle, then i replaced the throttle position sensor still nothing, i fixed the vats cuz that screwed up, and then i replaced the oxygen sensor still it sputters and seems like its starving for air. I start it up i pump the gass it sputters and then revs and then i let go of the gas and it shuts off, any suggestions on what the problem is

 

think it could be the timing or the fuel pump or something, someone help me out lol

 

sounds like you have some mechanical sense

advance the timing and see if that helps

check the fuel pressure

look at the spray patern of your injectors

how many miles on that timing chain
