Re: My Build Combo

Power, 325-360 HP my guess.

Opinion....that carb is too much for a 350. May wanna stay in the 650 range.

Those gears are going to break you neck off the line.

Even with 325 horse is should be a mid to low 13 second car correct?

Re: My Build Combo

Ive never clocked a car. My only point of reference is my highly calibrated 'butt dynometer'. I can tell you my old setup was plenty fast- .030 over, Edlebrock 600 carb and intake, open exhaust from headers to cherry bombs and a set of 3.73 gears. Those 3.73's were a HUGE improvement and REALLY launch me. Those 4.56's are going to amaze you. Im currently redoing my setup to include a set of Vortec heads, a .460 cam and a Holley 670. Based on my super technical parts analysis (asking the same question on other forums ) and Im going to be pushing a soild 350 hp. i dont know what my 1/4 mile time is (or ever has been) because my speedo has NEVER worked correctly.

I Would be happy with 350 hp. That should be more than enough to romp on my buddies ls1/t56 swapped 3rd gen.
