hi all ! ived got a camaro 89 with tpi maf , i will tranfer the computor to speed density i think a map sensor is better with a modified engine. so my question is a have a steal ram intake with a zz4 cam on my 350 engine , i want to know what will be the best cylinder heads to but on my setup i have seen gm performence heads they call it lt4 and it gives 11.5.1 compression ratio suppose to be a upgrade to the lt1 , i dont know if it will be a good idea the have 11.5.1 compression ratio on a street/strip car . what you think guys

 

You don't want LTx heads.

GM Fast Burns (Vortec style), Edelbrock Etec RPMs (Vortec style), AFR 195's, all decent heads. The AFR's would probably have the performance edge.

 

11.5 to 1 is kinda high for the street
