Transmission: 3 SPD AUTO
1982 chevy camaro choke light on
ok i have a 1982 camaro with a 350 in it. the car starts perfectly fine but when i try and drive it the choke light comes on and cuts the car off? not really sure what the problem is. any ideas on what the problem could be?? all answers will be appreciated thanks

Do you have a stock induction system on, or has it been changed?
Do you know if your choke heater wire is hooked up to the choke thermostat?

If the choke light comes on at the same time as the engine dies, then it's lighting up because the alternator is no longer charging when the engine stops.
