combo question

How do you think this would work out?

This engine : http://www.sdpc2000.com/details/scog...nter/sd360vtpi

but instead of using edelbrock runners, I'd being using SLP runners, ported plenum and I have a procharger kit that I'd like to run on it. I also have a nitrous kit but I don't think I want to blow the poor brand new engine.

This procharged engine would replace my cousin's 305 tpi that was mostly stock with headers and exhaust, airfoil, and AFPR.

Will this engine take 8 psi of intercooler boost? I am assuming so seeing as that a stock engine can take the 12 this kit used to put out. Am I seeing this the right way? By the way, this is a budget build that we want to do for less than 6K and don't want to have to much down time.

I believe that engine has hypereutectic pistons. Not the best choice for power adder. Cast actually work better with power adders than hypers do.

Re: combo question

Are you saying then, it would be a bad combo? How much boost do you guess the engine could take?
