Oily spark plugs?

So I suspect I already know what is wrong but I wanted to double check with you pro's out there. I checked my plugs today (for the hell of it) and found only 1 had a noticable amount of oil on it. My car's engine is a mostly stock (only changes I've made / I know about are plugs and an Edelbrock 1406 carb) 305. What do you think? Gaskets?

Re: Oily spark plugs?

How many miles on it? Just a " noticeable " amount..?.. as in a drop or two, more//less?

Check the PCV. Valve seals for that cylinder.

Maybe premature, but can you do a leak-down test?

Where, exactly on the plug did you find the oil?

Re: Oily spark plugs?

The engine has about 240k KM's on it but it was rebuilt at about 180k. By "noticable" amount, I mean enough to cover the tip of the plug entirely. The thing I found weird was there was only oil on that 1 plug, the others were clean.

My first thought, too, if it's on the porcelain.
