ROCKER RATIO HELP!
I have a 89 firebird with a 86 vette tpi 350. I rebuilt her with 40 over bord stock rods crank, and 40 over pistons stock cast. Stock heads and a new cam with apparently lil over stock. now for the question. The car seems like a dog. I lay in to it and she will spin then go got a decent pull but as soon as i hit 2800-3200 seems as though it is all gone. Now the cam is a lil over stock if it is supposed to use 1.5 ratio and i am using stock rockers would that be why she doesnt got anything? cause the valves arent opening enough to release? and bring in air? thanks anything would help thank you
also the maf sensor is bad so it is not plugged in,... could that be the problem as well?

Re: ROCKER RATIO HELP!
The car will definitely run better with a functioning MAF. That's a no-brainer, and the stock rocker ratio IS 1.5. If it still runs like a dog after you get the MAF working, and get the timing set correctly, chances are the cam is too small to make a noticeable difference over stock. 1.6 rockers usually give a slight increase in performance, but the stock ratio 1.5's should be just fine with the cam you're using.
